A Book Worth Reading

Connor Franta, a famous youtuber writes about his life growing up, and the transformations that he has encountered, in his memoir A Work in Progress. Not only does he talk about living life outside of web casting, but also about his struggles with family, his friendships, the ups and downs he faces, and his coming out story. He discusses how he discovers who he is and what he believes about gender and the trials and experiences he has. His words are very inspiring and his experiences are very relatable. This book is not just for young people looking to become famous, or a “certain type” of people, but it an inspiring book that encourages all people to enjoy life, and live a full life daily. One of my favorite quotes from his book is “I refuse to live a life of regret. I refuse to hope things will get better in the future when I have complete control over making them the best possible right here and now. We have one life-and none of us knows how long our life will be or what will become of it. The possibilities are truly infinite.” Some of the experiences he discusses are the importance of finding who you are, and knowing who you are. I would encourage everyone, at any stage of life to read this book.
