It's a BABY!

I recently had a friend that was pregnant that decided to not be revealed the gender of her baby until after it was born. While she did not mind this decision, people around her asked questions such as “How will you know what to buy it?” or “How do you decorate the babies room?” I thought this interesting because either way it is still a baby and you can buy clothes for a baby, and toys that don’t have to be gender specific. Colors don’t even have to matter to gender, but in our society it seems to be a big deal. Toys are still toys, a little girl can play with trucks and still dress up to be a princess and it is not going to stop the world. The parents of the newborn child were just excited to have a child and did not even care what gender the baby might be but were ecstatic to be parents. I thought this was an interesting way that some people dealt with gender.
